Native American-themed funk/pop band WaChiChoo rocked the house last night at Danny Screams Studios in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. They played a combination of old songs and new, including the crowd favorite Don’t Bother Me which has a video available online.

The members of Wachichoo draw inspiration from RUN-DMC, Foo Fighters, Jane’s Addiction and Helmet.  They have already released 3 EP’s and are still going strong.

Their song Don’t Bother Me is fun and energetic.  The video follows a delightfully attractive young lady in very tight jeans and sexy boots through a music store, down the street, into the subway, and eventually to a hangout with her friends.  Needless to say, it’s hard to pay attention to the lyrics.

Also on display will be the whimsical art of director, producer and actress Audrey Lorea. Audrey’s directorial debut, Heaven Is Now, is scheduled for release this summer.  Audrey herself is planning on attending the event to support her former band mates and to promote her art.
